Partnering for a Safe School Community
School Safety covers several interconnected areas that together help keep students and staff secure, both physically and emotionally.  Various teams are assembled for various purposes and work collaboratively together to address overall safety including:
  • District Safety Team-Central Command
  • Building Level Safety Teams
  • Local law enforcement
  • Mental Health Team
  • Threat Assessment Team

The goal of the district is to provide a safe learning environment for all students.  Any concerns for individual students or that of others is addressed by the district threat assessment team.
