Superintendent:  Mrs. Jennifer Mitchell

Mrs. Jennifer Mitchell is a Huntingdon Area School District 1990 graduate and pursued her education degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education at Juniata College.  Her graduate work was completed at Edinboro University where she obtained her principal and superintendent certifications.  

During the course of her career at HASD she was a kindergarten teacher, librarian, instructional coach, building leader at Southside Elementary School and Principal at Standing Stone Elementary School.   Mrs. Mitchell gained further experience at the Mifflin County School District where she was an Elementary Principal and the Curriculum and Professional Development Coordinator.  Prior to returning and taking the superintendency at Huntingdon, she served as an Assistant Superintendent at Hollidaysburg Area School District.  Personally, she is the wife of Toby Mitchell, also an educator and the mother of three successful HASD graduates:  Trevor, Taylor and Jaelyn Mitchell.
