Huntingdon Area High School was dedicated January 15, 1961, and completed a major renovation in 2006. The High School offers its approximately 650 students in grades 9-12 educational programs which prepare them to continue their education or enter the job market following graduation.
An accelerated academic program is available to college bound students. Learning and emotional support staff work with the classroom teachers to promote the achievement of all students. Musical, artistic, guidance, and athletic departments serve to enhance and enrich the school’s academic programs. Our students also participate in the vocational courses offered at the Huntingdon County Career and Technology Center.
