School Closing and Delay Information

School Closing Information:

School closing information is available on a variety of media. Our web site
(www.huntsd.org) will run banner ads when ever school is delayed or canceled
due to bad weather or other reasons. In addition to the district web page local
radio and TV organizations will also be notified and will display the information.

2 hour School Delays:

If there is a delay they are now 2 hours and will also be displayed the same way, a school closing is displayed – district web site and local TV/Radio stations.

SMS Messaging System:

The Huntingdon Area School District now uses the School Messenger
notification system for sending emergency and informational messages.
