CATS Club Tutoring will be held Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons directly after dismissal until 4:30 PM. It will be the parents responsibility to pick up their child(ren) in front of Southside Elementary School promptly at 4:30 PM.
The program will begin on Monday, October 30, 2023 and occur every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday through December 7, 2023. Then it will resume on January 22, 2024 and run every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday through April 18, 2024. If the district has a scheduled early dismissal or an early dismissal due to inclement weather there will be no tutoring that day. In addition if we have a Friday off, there will be no tutoring the prior Thursday. Other schedule adjustments may be necessary as the need arises. You will be notified of unplanned changes by 1PM via the phone messaging system.
During the tutoring session the students will receive a snack and academic support.
School district teachers will oversee the program and they will be assisted by Juniata College students. All Juniata College students are required to have all of their clearances in order to tutor at the school.
Please submit a response for each child attending the CATS Club Tutoring program. All students must be signed out prior to leaving the tutoring program. Please bring PHOTO ID to show the teachers when signing your child out of tutoring.
