The following list is scholarships available for the 2016-2017 school year. The applications are at the bottom of the webpage unless otherwise noted.

This list includes scholarships that the Counseling Office receives information about, and is in no way a comprehensive list. Students are HIGHLY encouraged to check their college’s website to find information about school-specific scholarships. If you have any questions, please stop by the Counseling Office!

04/21/2017Collin Brumbaugh Memorial ScholarshipApplicant must be a graduating HAHS senior, accepted to a post-secondary program, participated in athletics, and will likely continue to participate in athletics in the future. Application, letter of rec, copy of acceptance letter and submit to Guidance Office by May 6.Attached below
04/26/2017Ted Braxton Creative Arts ScholarshipHAHS graduating senior with GPA of 2.5 or better, accepted to a 2 or 4 year post-secondary institution, participated in creative arts and likely to continue in college. Application, teacher rec, and portfolio required. Attached below
04/27/2017PA Association of School Retirees: Huntingdon County ChapterApplicants must be a graduating senior who has been accepted to study to be a teacher or in the educational profession. 250-350 word essay, prompt on application. Attached below

05/10/2017Standing Stone Garden Club ScholarshipApplicant must be planning to further education in botany, ecology, environmental engineering, environmental science, floriculture, horticulture, landscape architecture, nursery production, plant pathology, soil science, turf management, or another allied subject. Must also have a "B" average, and include 2 letters of rec, brief activities resume, and short essay. Due to Guidance by 5/9/17. Attached below

05/27/2017NY-Penn League Charitable Foundation 2016 Scholarship Applicant must be graduating senior with a min. GPA of 3.0, show leadership, participate in community service and extracurriculars, and explain impact State College Spikes has had on his/her life. Must include 3 letters of rec, copy of acceptance letter, transcript, and application. Applications must be sent to Spikes Office by June 1, so mailing by May 27 is recommended. Attached below
