Public Announcement – High School

The Huntingdon Area High School is currently conducting a planned, but unannounced, canine search for controlled substances within the building and around the building premises.  This began at approximately 7:50 am. Learners are remaining in their homeroom classes while the search takes place. Searches such as this, in cooperation with law enforcement, are important to promote and maintain a healthy and safe school environment.

Please note that the April Active Intruder drill is NOT taking place at this time.

A follow-up message will be sent with the search has concluded, and learners resume their day.  We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
